Made for Food Production. Made by Hillbrush.
Hillbrush Hygiene provides professional, colour-coded cleaning equipment for food and beverage manufacturers, ingredient producers and other hygiene-critical environments. We combine more than a century of manufacturing experience with modern product design, injection moulding and specialist brushmaking capabilities. This means our customers are not simply purchasing cleaning equipment from a reseller. They are working directly with the people who design, manufacture and support it.
Hillbrush was founded in 1922 and continues to manufacture from its facility in Mere, Wiltshire.
A Manufacturer, Not Simply a Supplier
Our involvement begins before a product reaches the production floor. Hillbrush can manage the process from initial concept and material selection through to prototyping, injection moulding, brush production, assembly, quality checks, packing and fulfilment.
Keeping these processes closely connected gives us detailed knowledge of how our products are constructed, how they should be used and which applications they are designed to address. It also gives customers direct access to technical and manufacturing support when an application is unusual, demanding or not easily solved using a standard product.
Cleaning Equipment Built Around Real Applications
The Hillbrush Hygiene range supports cleaning tasks throughout food and beverage production facilities. Our product offering includes:
- Hand brushes, brooms, deck scrubs and specialist brushes
- Single-blade and double-foam squeegees
- Scrapers, scoops, shovels and paddles
- Tube, pipe and drain-cleaning brushes
- Handles, adapters and waterflow equipment
- Preset and modular hanging systems
- Purpose-made, colour-coded shadow boards
- Resin-set and specialist detectable brushware
Rather than treating every cleaning task in the same way, we help customers consider the residue, surface, hygiene risk, access, temperature, chemicals and required level of mechanical action.
British Manufacturing with Global Experience
Hillbrush has supplied professional cleaning equipment for generations, but the Hygiene range is focused firmly on the challenges facing modern production facilities.
We continue to invest in product design, injection moulding, manufacturing technology and technical expertise so that our customers can purchase with greater confidence.
Cleaning Equipment Backed by the Manufacturer
Work directly with a British manufacturer that understands the complete product journey — from the initial application to manufacture, delivery and ongoing support.
Quality and Compliance You Can Evidence
Cleaning tools form part of a facility’s wider food-safety system. Product suitability, condition, storage and controlled use can all affect cleaning performance and contamination risk. Hillbrush maintains ISO 9001 certification and participates in recognised industry organisations and schemes including the Federation of European Brush Manufacturers’ Professional Hygiene Brush Working Group, the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association and Campden BRI.
Applicable Hillbrush Hygiene products are also supported by food-contact compliance and migration-testing documentation. Documentation is available to help technical, procurement and food-safety teams assess individual products and materials against their intended applications.
